i would have had pbj's {san antonio wedding planner}

I would have bought my dress at a vintage shop.

I would have served my guests PBJs.

I would have set up blankets on the grass.

I wold have picked wildflowers for my bouquet.

If I could do MY wedding ALL over again...I would have spent 90% of my entire wedding budget on cinematography and photography.

Hungry?

  1. GREAT point! They really are the only things you have left after the day, paper memories

  2. Everyone has things they'd do differently...but hopefully no serious regrets.

  3. I often think about how what I could have done with the money spent on our wedding, especially now 2 years later since we have a little one. but that day was so amazing I wouldn't change a thing! I didn't have a cinematographer or videographer though, just a great photog, but I do sometimes wish I had a gorgeous film of our wedding.

  4. So many people feel the same way after their wedding...They should have gotten a videographer. I always encourage my brides to do so during the planning process and I'll refer them to this post when they give me push back.

  5. That's the way that mine's working out. Those were so important to me.

    P.S. We're also having fried chicken but that's not a budget thing - it's a "the bride freaking wants it!" thing. ;)

  6. I think PB&Js sound fun! I think everyone has "what ifs" about their weddings, but hopefully it was the best day regardless!

  7. I honestly sighed when I read this and the biggest grin broke out over my face. This sounds just lovely. Sign me up! Except for the PB&J. I'm allergic to peanuts but everyone else can tell me how good it was! ;)

  13. I'm going to put a link to this post on my photography blog. This is definitely the best advice I've seen in a while! And not just because I'm a photographer, but because it's true...and as a former bride who felt the same way, I can attest to it as well.
