Planning a surprise party is always SO much fun...and this one topped them all! Tracy set out to give her husband David a 40th birthday bash to remember. She truly took his likes and interests, and came up with an amazing night. The party took place at the brand spankin' new Alamo Drafthouse-Stone Oak, where the guests were treated to dinner, drinks, dessert, and the classic cult film, Strange Brew! I truly forgot how hilarious that movie really is, eh?
From the invites, to the menu, to the dessert table...the theme of movies and good brew was present in every tiny detail. Here are the menus, which mimicked the feel of the invitations:
And now on to the dessert table! I had such a blast pulling this all together...what a fun theme! If you look on the left hand side you can see the "Guinness draft beer" cake pops I made!
There's just something about a mustaches that makes a cupcake manly...
