movie buff shindig {san antonio party planner}

The theatre and movie geek in me is very excited about all of the Alamo Drafthouse Cinemas popping up all over Austin and San Antonio.  The food is amazing, the selection of beers on tap is one to make anyone salivate, and the movies...duh, the movies are the main attraction!

In San Antonio, Alamo Drafthouse Park North can accommodate up to 800 guests for a venue rental. I adore the idea of renting this unique location for a bash.  At Park North, the parking is secure and dedicated to only a few businesses in the immediate area.  Your entrance into Alamo is first up an escalator from the parking lot to the lobby.  The lobby is spacious and versatile...begging for a soiree!

A few ideas crawl around in my mind...

1.  An Oscar themed High School Reunion. I love it...show images and movie clips of films from your glory days, drag the red carpet out, and divvy out honors to the deserved.

2.  A 30th, 40th, or 50th birthday bash with your favorite movie and food complimentary to the theme of the film.  Mystic Pizza anyone? Like Water for Chocolate?

3.  Although I can't believe I'm even mentioning this...how special would your 13 year old girl feel being able to invite all of her friends to a private concert screening of Justin Beiber? Hello?!

As you can tell, I'm just in love with this place and itching for someone to have an event here!
