So it is obvious we are super pumped about these shoots but first let's find out a little more about Miss Kimberly...
Before you get too excited about the photo shoot I’m sure you want to know more about the photographer, so here it goes! Just a few things to start, Kim is a chapstick obsessed, snocone and 80s music loving passionate photographer that never gets tired of natural light or apple products! She’s super friendly and cares about her clients.
She started doing wedding photography by second shooting with other photographers and has loved it ever since. A hopeless romantic, she loves that she captures amazing moments that will be passed through many generations. Sharing the experience of getting married with different couples and being such a big part of the start of their family is a pretty amazing feeling.
Family is very important, so much that the picture she would carry for the rest of her life is a picture of her children at the French Quarter in New Orleans. Her son is tickling her daughter, and it is the most genuine and candid moment a mother could capture.
This is also carried over into her professional photography. She doesn’t have an exact style, she mostly focuses on capturing the real moments, what makes the memories.
When she does shoots she suggests for the clients or couples to take photos of each other for a few days before the shoots, that way they are both comfortable in front of the camera from the start of the shoot… this means even more amazing photos people!
Want even MORE amazing shots? Kim is most creative during the hours 3- 5am. Any early morning sessions anyone? Just kidding! She’s also very creative once she gets into the shoot! It’s all a process, and getting a feel for the client’s energy and personality really helps.
The most unique request she has ever received? A photo shoot done with twin poodles dressed in Halloween outfits. That is definitely unique!
